Privacy notice
Last updated 24 October 2026
This notice explains what information TSUGI collects through tsugidigital.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short and plain on purpose. If anything is unclear, email hello@tsugidigital.com.
Who we are
TSUGI is a digital problem-solving agency based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, run by Zain Mhene as a sole trader trading as TSUGI. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Zain Mhene (trading as TSUGI) is the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us at hello@tsugidigital.com.
What we collect
- When you send an enquiry or consultation request: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your business name, industry, website and social links, and what you tell us about your business, its challenges, budget and timeline.
- When you book a consultation: the time you choose and the booking details needed to send you a calendar invitation.
- To keep the forms safe: your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated or automated submissions.
We don’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site, and we don’t buy or sell personal information.
Why we use it
- To read and reply to your enquiry, and to arrange and hold a consultation if you’d like one (steps taken at your request before any agreement).
- To keep a record of our conversations so we can prepare a proposal if you ask for one (our legitimate interest in running the business).
- To protect the site from spam and abuse (legitimate interest).
Who helps us
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site: website hosting, a secure database, an email delivery service and Google Workspace (email and calendar). They process information only on our instructions. Some of them may store data outside the UK; where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
Your information is kept private: only Zain can see it, and it isn’t shared with anyone except the providers above. Enquiries are deleted automatically 24 months after they’re closed, whether or not they led to work, and enquiries we never took further are deleted 24 months after you sent them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
If we work together, invoices and payment records are kept separately for as long as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit its use. Email hello@tsugidigital.com and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
