About TSUGI

4 questions

What exactly does TSUGI do?

We help businesses find what’s holding them back, then design and build the digital fix. That might be a website, a booking system, an AI assistant, automation, better customer communication or ongoing support.

We start with the problem, not the product. The technology is only the way we solve it.

What types of businesses do you work with?

Mostly small and growing businesses that serve customers directly: salons and barbers, studios, trades, hospitality, clinics, shops and local services. We’re based in the Newcastle upon Tyne area and work with businesses across the UK.

If your business has customers and something slowing it down, it’s worth a conversation.

Do I need to know which service I need?

No. Most people don’t, and that’s fine. Tell us what isn’t working and we’ll work out what would genuinely help. “Not sure” is a perfectly good answer on our enquiry form.

Can you help if I already have a website?

Yes. Often the best fix is improving what you already have rather than starting again. If your current site is fine and the problem is somewhere else, we’ll say so.

Projects

5 questions

How does the process work?

You tell us what isn’t working. We review it, and if it makes sense we invite you to a 30-minute conversation. If there’s a clear way we can help, we send a written proposal with the scope, timeline and price. Nothing starts until you agree to it.

Then we build, check in with you along the way, launch, and keep improving.

How long does a project take?

It depends on what’s needed. A focused fix can be quick; a full website with booking or automation takes longer. You’ll see a realistic timeline in your proposal before anything starts.

How much does a project cost?

Every project is priced once we understand what’s actually needed, so you only pay for what helps. You’ll get a clear written quote before any work begins.

Can you improve an existing system?

Yes. If a tool you already use mostly works, we’d rather connect it, tidy it up or extend it than replace it.

Do you offer custom solutions?

Yes. Everything we build is shaped around how your business runs. Where a reliable off-the-shelf tool does the job better, we’ll recommend that instead.

AI and automation

4 questions

What can an AI assistant do for my business?

It can answer common questions, explain your services and prices, collect enquiry details, help customers book and sort incoming messages, at any time of day.

We set clear limits on what it says and make sure a real person takes over when it matters.

Can you automate repetitive tasks?

Often, yes: confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, moving details between apps, simple reports and anything you find yourself copying and pasting every week.

Will AI replace my employees?

That isn’t what we’re here for. We use AI to take repetitive work off people’s plates so they can spend their time on customers and the work that needs a human.

Are AI services suitable for small businesses?

They can be, when they solve a real problem. We only recommend AI when it’s the right tool. Sometimes a simpler fix works better, and we’ll tell you.

Maintenance and support

4 questions

Do you provide ongoing support?

Yes. If anything we built has a bug or glitch in the first 60 days after launch, we fix it free. After that, ongoing maintenance and care, such as updates, monitoring, fixes and improvements, is available as a monthly plan, agreed with you up front.

Can you maintain my website?

Yes, including sites we didn’t build, once we’ve had a look at how they’re set up.

What happens after a project is completed?

We hand everything over, show you how it works and stay in touch. After launch we look at what’s working and what should come next.

Can I request additional features?

Of course. Tell us what you need and we’ll scope and quote it before doing anything.

Ownership and payments

4 questions

Will I own my website?

Yes. Once the project is paid for, your website and its content are yours. We confirm the details in writing in your proposal.

Who owns the domain?

Your domain should be registered in your name. If we set it up for you, we register it to you.

Are there monthly fees?

Only where something genuinely has an ongoing cost, such as hosting, maintenance or a paid tool. Every ongoing cost is listed in your proposal before you agree to anything.

Can I cancel ongoing support?

Yes. There’s no minimum term. Just give us 30 days’ notice and we’ll help hand everything over.

Consultations

4 questions

Is the initial consultation free?

Yes. The first 30-minute conversation is free and there’s no obligation.

How do I request one?

Either tell us about your business through the enquiry form, or send a short consultation request. We review every request first, then email you a private link to choose a time.

What happens after submitting an enquiry?

We read it ourselves. If a conversation makes sense, we email you a link to book a 30-minute slot. If we’re not the right fit, we tell you honestly and, where we can, point you in a better direction.

What should I prepare for the consultation?

Nothing formal. It helps to think about what’s frustrating you most, a recent example of it happening, and what “better” would look like. Have your website or social links handy if you have them.

Still wondering about something?

Ask us directly. We read every message ourselves.
